On February 17, 2024, within the framework of the international conference “Dynamic Mathematics in Education”, organized by IMI-BAS, Prof. E. Atanassov (IICT-BAS) delivered an invited talk “The Hemus supercomputer – opportunities and challenges”, in which he presented the new high-performance technologies, HEMUS features, benchmark test results and application migration challenges. In addition, the HPC services offered by the National Centre of Competence in HPC for researchers, public sector and industry were showcased. After the lecture, a visit to the HPC Centre of IICT-BAS was organized for the conference participants, where experts from the Centre answered all questions. The conference was hybrid, with wide audience including researchers, teachers and public sector representatives.
