To achieve effective management of the available computing and storage resources and to facilitate the interoperability of infrastructure, a set of operational tools and services is used:

• Infrastructure monitoring (monitoring service) – monitoring is currently carried out at each resource center individually and the information is aggregated. We foresee a common monitoring system based on the ARGO Service Monitoring system. The system allows integration with the GOCDB, which will contain all the technical details regarding the configuration of the monitoring system. Integration will automatically trigger the monitoring of all services once they are included in the GOCDB.
• A resource accounting system – Currently, use is reported in each Resource Center and results are aggregated. It is envisaged the development and installation of a common system for all resources in the NCHDC.
• User Support System – Provides timely analysis and resolution of reported issues and response to emerging issues. A knowledge base is created.
