SUMMARY:Visit to IICT-BAS’s HPC Centre and training workshop for students from the University of Food Technologies - Plovdiv\, April 1\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:Students majoring in Computer Systems and Technologies from the University of Food Technologies – Plovdiv\, led by Prof. Atanaska Bosakova-Ardenska\, visited IICT-BAS on April 1\, 2024. The group was welcomed by Prof. Emanouil Atanassov and the experts Maria Durchova and Alexander Kirilov. The program of the visit included: \n1) Guided tour of the High-Performance Computing Centre of IICT-BAS \n2) Training workshop \nThe students were introduced to the high-performance systems located at IICT-BAS. Special attention was paid to the Data Centre\, which includes a data storage system with a capacity of 6.72 PetaBytes and the new supercomputer HEMUS with a peak performance of over 3 PetaFlops. \n \n \n \n
