DESCRIPTION:The SESAME–Net Workshop “HPC for SMEs in Bulgaria” took place on 3 April 2017 at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT-BAS) (Sofia\, Acad. G. Bonchev Str.\, Bl. 25A\, seminar room 218 (2nd floor)).\nThe aim of this workshop was to present the benefits of HPC for Small and Medium Enterprises\, including startups. The new „HPC4SME Assessment Tool“\, developed within the SESAME NET project was presented\, so that SMEs may assess whether their market position can be improved by using HPC.\nThe idea of the SESAME-NET project is to establish an inclusive European network of Competence Centres and Organizations joining forces in order to raise SMEs’ awareness on HPC and to demonstrate its features and benefits.\nProgramme: 9:30AM -1:30 PM\n1.
